Marketing Associate

Location: Bethesda, MD
Reports to: Director, Global Marketing & Sales Support

Position Summary

Radius Travel, a growth company that delivers global travel programs for multinational companies through a network of best-in-market agencies, has an immediate opening for a Marketing Associate who will provide assistance to Radius Marketing and Sales Support. This is an exciting opportunity for a bright self-starter to join a progressive team where input is valued and exposure to a wide range of departments and projects is guaranteed.

The Marketing Associate will help provide content for public and private websites, RFPs, sales presentations, corporate emails, and social media profiles while managing our organization’s use of Salesforce.com

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Manages day-to-day execution of outgoing corporate emails
  • Supports and manages the content of a private website for Radius members and partners
  • Maintains corporate website through content and image changes, as directed
  • Assists in the completion of RFPs from prospective clients, as needed
  • Updates Radius Travel social media profiles and online communities
  • Serves as Salesforce.com administrator, providing training of new employees, resolving user questions about the system as they arise, and periodically auditing the data to ensure accuracy
  • Processes incoming prospect information in corporate contact database and otherwise
  • Coordinates marketing budget, including invoice processing, accruals and budget reconciliations
  • Fulfills graphic and branding requests
  • Provides other support to marketing and communications efforts as needed

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Experience with HTML coding and using Salesforce.com (preferred)
  • Familiarity with Adobe Suite preferred
  • Knowledge of presentation software (e.g. PowerPoint, Keynote and/or Prezi)
  • Significant knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Creative self-starter who is detail- and process-oriented, with strong organization skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment
  • Solid interpersonal skills; a team-player with an eagerness to learn
